Veterinary Medicine – Special arrangements for applicants seeking entry in 2021 and 2022: In addition to the reduction of the practical hours to 15 hours and in one animal category, for 2021 only UCD Vet School will also accept this approved Virtual Work Experience and Exploring the Veterinary Profession online course offered by the University of Nottingham as meeting the practical experience requirement. It is free and will take 2 weeks to complete and involves 3 hours study per week. The 1st week will focus on an Introduction to the veterinary profession and the second week will cover The wider team, expectations and what it is really like being a vet. Upon completion the digital certificate should be uploaded to your online practical experience form. For full details and to complete your records of experience please visit our website here.
